The Surgery Center will call you the week before surgery to give your arrival time. ONLY the Surgery Center can tell you this time.
Disregard the time listed in your patient portal.
I WILL ARRANGE TO HAVE A DRIVER STAY FOR THE DURATION OF MY SURGERY
It is a safety policy to ensure
the driver is always present.
I WILL PICK UP MY PRESCRIPTION(S) BEFORE SURGERY
Your prescription(s) will be called in the Friday
before your surgery. Call your pharmacy to
confirm before pickup.
I WILL STOP TAKING BLOOD THINNGERS BASED ON WHAT MY CARDIOLOGIST TELLS ME. I WILL NOT STOP UNTIL CLEARANCE HAS BEEN RECIEVED.
All other medications should
be taken as directed.
I WILL NOT EAT -OR- DRINK ANYTHING AFTER MIDNIGHT BEFORE SURGERY.
Medications may be
taken with a sip of water.
